Isra blindness control program was initiated in 1991, this program has expanded to 35 countries in Asia and Africa, earning recognition from national and international organizations, including awards from the Institute of Overseas Pakistanis.

Al Ibrahim eye hospital was launched in 1990 in Memon Goth, Karachi, and later shifted to Old Thana Village in 1994. Additional eye hospitals were established in Kunri, Thar, and internationally in Sudan and Bangladesh.
